    What is SAFe® for Architects

    It is undeniable: digitization is ultimately of vital importance to every organization. New technological developments play a crucial role in this. Developments that follow each other faster and faster. No wonder that much attention is paid to technical architecture within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Not only in the roles at every level (enterprise, solution and system architect), but also through enabling epics, capabilities, features and stories. And of course the concept of the architectural runway.
    In the three-day SAFe for Architects training, all architecture-related topics and all architect roles are extensively discussed. With attention not only to the 'traditional' responsibilities of architects, but also to their important input in leading the implementation of SAFe and their role in the change management process.

    Who should attend the SAFe® for Architects

    This training is often followed by, but is not limited to:

    • System, Solution and Enterprise architects
    • Architects in supporting technical disciplines
    • Experienced software developers
    • Technical managers who make decisions about architecture
    • Product leaders who collaborate with architects

    The SAFe Architect exam is included with the training, the costs of the exam are part of the training price. You take this online exam at a place and time to be determined by yourself (but within 30 days after the training).
    The training includes one year membership of the SAFe Community Platform. There you will find, among other things, an electronic version of the training material and a test exam. You will also find videos, a knowledge base and communities of practice.

    Prerequisites

    This training requires knowledge of agile principles and practices in general. You must also have followed at least another SAFe training.

    Objectives

    To perform the role of a SAFe® Architect attendees should be able to:

    • Architect using SAFe principles
    • Align architecture with business value
    • Develop and communicate architecture vision and intent
    • Plan architectural runway to enable delivery success
    • Architect for continuous delivery and Release on Demand
    • Lead and coach architects and team members during Program Increment (PI) Planning and execution
    • Provide leadership during a Lean-Agile transformation
