What is ArchiMate® 3 Foundation & Practitioner

ArchiMate® 3 is a modeling language for architecture and provides a uniform and comprehensive way to describe, analyze and visualize architectures. ArchiMate® is a widely accepted modeling language, which is supported by various tools.
If your organization uses or will be using ArchiMate® then this training is excellent for learning and applying the concepts and notation of ArchiMate®. The training also includes a voucher for the official ArchiMate® Foundation and Practitioner exam and is based on ArchiMate® version 3.2. A new aspect in ArchiMate 3 is that the modeling takes the strategy and physical recources of an organization into account.
After attending the training ArchiMate® 3 Foundation & Practitioner training:

• You are familiar with the concepts and philosophy of ArchiMate® 3.2
• You get insight into the differences between ArchiMate® and other modeling languages and architectural frameworks
• You learn how to apply the format correctly
• You are able to use ArchiMate® 3.2 on your situation
• You are, after successfully passing the exams, ArchiMate® 3 Practitioner (Level 2) Certified

Who should attend ArchiMate® 3 Foundation & Practitioner

This training is intended for architects who will apply ArchiMate® in their daily work.The training is also suitable for Business Analysts, Project Managers and Information Managers who need to understand and apply ArchiMate®.
The cost for the exam is included in the total price of the training. With this training, an exam voucher is included. You will do the exam at a Pearson Vue exam centre, time and location can be booked via Pearson Vue.
After passing the examination, you will be registered in The Open Group register of 'ArchiMate® 3 Certified'. Pubication of the registration is subject to your permission.
The exam language is English. If English is your second language, you will be granted extra time to answer the theoretical exam questions. The total workload of the training is about 24 hours (excl. days of training).
During the training, you work with the tool ARCHI, to be downloaded from https://www.archimatetool.com. You need to install this on your own device prior to the training.

Prerequisites

You have some years of experience in the architecture area of expertise.
