    What is Data Quality

The importance of data has become ever greater as it has since become an essential business tool. Many far-reaching decisions are made based on available data. The consequences for an organization can be disastrous when decisions are made on the basis of incorrect data or on the basis of misinterpretation of data. What characteristics must data have to prevent the collection of erroneous data or misinterpretation? This is the subject of this training. But not everything has been said. When the characteristics are defined, the current quality of data must be measured and improvement processes must be defined and implemented. In this training you will learn about the approach to regulate such processes.
After completing this training, the participant has knowledge of what data quality is and what this means within DAMA-DMBOK. In addition, the participant has insight into the risks of poor data quality and the importance of good data quality.
