What is Big Data, the Business Perspective

Big Data no longer is a hype. Many organisations are putting data, the new gold, on Big Data Platforms (data lakes). In Lab environments, they are trying to get value out of the data by exploring the data, getting insights and develop predictive models. So now the hot terms are AI (Artificial Intelligence), machine learning, data science and chatbots. Organisations are struggling with how to apply the lab results in the daily business operations. And how do you transform a BI organization into a modern Data & Analytics capability? That makes it interesting to learn from each other’s approaches.
In this training, we will inspire you of what is possible using real life cases and what it takes to really unlock the potential value of using data within the business. So we will discuss:

    • What type of business challenges were tackled using Big Data (real world case studies)
    • How to recognize business challenges that are fit for being solved using Big Data?
    • What are the differences between a Big Data and a traditional approach?
