    What is Introduction Python

    Do you want to learn how to program in Python? And do you want to know how Python can help you get insights from your data and what you can do with these insights?
    Introduction to Python gives you the tools to develop yourself as a Data Analyst / Data Scientist by learning to clean, prepare, analyze and present data with Python.
    Topics covered in this training include:

    • What is Python and how can you start using it?
    • How does Jupyter Notebooks work?
    • Program building blocks like Data types, Variables, Operators
    • Program concepts like Conditionals, Loops, Functions
    • Clean data
    • Data analyses
    • Presenting data

    In addition, this training focuses specifically on the modules

    • Numpy
    • pandas
    • Plotly

    Besides that we will explain the theory behind the basic principles of Python on the basis of practical examples, you will also be in control a lot yourself. So you will immediately gain practical experience with Python. Afterwards you will have the tools to use Python yourself in your data analyses.

     
     

    Who should attend Introduction Python

    The Introduction to Python training is suitable for:

    • Starters at the start of their career
    • People with no (or little) experience in Python and/or no programming experience at all
    • Data Analysts
    • Data Scientists

    Prerequisites

    Beginning skills and general knowledge of data analysis. The 'Introduction to Data Analysis' course addresses these topics and is ideally suited to follow as a training course prior to this.
    During this training you need a laptop on which you can install software: Anaconda (https://www.anaconda.com/products/individual).

    After this training, the participant is able to answer the questions:

    • What is Python and how can I start using it?
    • How does Python help me clean, prepare, analyze and present my data?
