The ‘BCS Practitioner in Business Analysis Practice’ training equips you with the necessary tools to obtain the BCS Practitioner Certificate. This is achieved through practical assignments and exam practice questions. The training focuses on strategic aspects of Business Analysis, including performance measurement of the current situation, qualitative and quantitative techniques for examining the business situation, stakeholder perspective analysis using the CATWOE technique, and the BAM technique for visualizing the current or desired future situation. The training also covers the aspects that should be described in a business case. However the focus is more on obtaining the diploma rather than the practical application of these techniques. The training is based on the BCS books ‘Business Analysis’ (fourth edition) and ‘Business Analysis Techniques’ (third edition). This training is part of the trajectory leading to the International Diploma in Business Analysis.

    • Business Analysts: Learn strategic analysis techniques to improve business systems.
    • Consultants: Gain insights into business case development and implementation.
    • IT Professionals: Learn techniques for the analysis and conceptual modelling of business systems.
    • Decision Makers: Understand how to identify costs, benefits, impacts, and risks for an option in a business case.
Participants are expected to have a good understanding of business analysis. Several years of experience in a business environment is essential.
