    The exam training BCS Practitioner Requirements Engineering gives you the tools to obtain the certificate Practitioner Requirements Engineering.
    The exam focuses of the requirements engineering framework. During the training, you do assignments and practice with exam questions.     This training is based on the BCS books Business Analysis (fourth edition) and Business Analysis Techniques (third edition).

    Who should attend BCS Practitioner in Requirements Engineering

    This training is specifically designed for anyone who is already aquainted with business analysis and besides having a clear picture of requirements engineering, also wants to obtain an internationally recognized certificate. Prior knwoledge at the level of BCS Business Analysis Foundation is recommended.
    In addition to business analysts, this training is also suitable for:

    • project managers
    • architects
    • information analysts
    • system analysts
    • functional designers
    • functional administrators.

    Prerequisites

    If you have taken the BCS Business Analysis Foundation exam, this gives you a very good starting point.
    To participate in this training, it is mandatory to have knowledge of the attainment targets as described for the BCS Foundation certificate.
    We advise you to follow this training in advance, this is not mandatory.
    You do need to be in possession of the book "Business Analysis Fourth edition" (ISBN 9781780175102) as provided with the BCS Foundation training.
    You should have read the chapters in this book that are described in the preparatory work for this training.
    This book is not provided with this training.

    Objectives

    Holders of the BCS Certificate in Requirements Engineering should be able to:

    • Define the requirements approach and project scope
    • Explain the use of a range of requirements elicitation techniques and the relevance of the techniques to business situations
    • Explain use, importance, and techniques to record requirements (documentation)
    • Explain the rationale and use of models and prototypes to represent the requirements
    • Describe the responsibilities of actors and stakeholders and how to collaborate and communicate to clarify requirements
    • Explain the purpose and usage to analyze, prioritize and assure the quality of requirements
    • Explain the techniques used to analyze roles and the purpose of a customer journey map
    • Define the elements of requirements management and the rationale and approach to achieve requirements traceability

    This training includes a voucher for the official, internationally recognized exam.
    The costs of the exam voucher are included in the price of the training. Shortly after the start of the training you will receive a voucher with which you can reserve your exam. Bear in mind that you must plan your exam at least 5 working days in advance.
