    What is Advanced Data Modeling

You regularly read data models and you have also made an ERD yourself or maybe even drawn up a model from scratch. The core is clear to you and you now ask yourself, is there no more? In this case, this training is suitable for you. The organization you work for benefits from the overview of what you can create for the required data and how you can use this overview during system implementation.
After this training you will have knowledge of:

    • Drawing up a conceptual model, clear definitions and the importance of purpose limitation.
    • Drawing up a logical model in all its different manifestations
    • Drawing up a technical data model with attention to performance and manageability towards implementation towards databases and/or interfaces
    • You have multiple methods and techniques (3NF, OO, Dimensional, Anchor modeling and more)
    • You learn that time is a difficult concept in reality and how you deal with this in the models
    • You learn about Model Management and what else is needed after drawing up your model
    • How software can support you in this process and the bottom-up approach can complement the goal limitation approach
