What is Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) Foundation

Managing Successful Programs (MSP®) helps you break down complex change processes into manageable projects and other activities. With MSP you can define a vision for your program, shape and control your program. This is all supported by a set of principles, processes and themes that have been developed based on years of experience in Program Management.
MSP 5th edition comes from Axelos and is fully compatible with other methodologies and frameworks such as PRINCE2® and PRINCE2 Agile ®. The fifth edition of MSP responds to a number of developments inthe world of program and project management, such as agile working.

This training is intended for people who want to find out more about the stearing, managing and supporting of programmes.
You work, for example, in the role as:

• Program manager
• Senior Projectmanager
• Senior PMO

Prerequisites

The participants are expected to be very experienced in Project Management and / or have experience with Program Management. The participants are also expected to have thorough knowledge of PRINCE2®.
During this training you need a laptop with access to internet.

Objectives

With the MSP® Foundation training you will get to know the MSP® method for program management. The principles, themes and processes of MSP® are discussed extensively. The training is also intended asa preliminary training for the MSP® Foundation Exam. The training is aimed at those who have extensive experience in managing projects and who want to develop and expand further, and at program managers. After completing the course you will be familiar with the terminology of MSP®.

Exam information

This training includes a voucher for the official, internationally recognized exam.
The costs of the exam voucher are included in the price of the training. Shortly after the start of the training you will receive a voucher with which you can reserve your exam.
Bear in mind that you must plan your exam at least 5 working days in advance.
