    What is Introduction to Accessibility

Digital accessibility is essential in creating an inclusive world for everyone. A relevant topic as roughly 1 out of 4 people in our society experiences some sort of disability. That is why in the Netherlands, since September 23, 2020, websites and applications of government institutions must comply with the guidelines for digital accessibility, also known as WCAG.
During this half-day introduction, you will be primed to build accessible websites for everyone. After an explanation of several types of accessibility problems, you will understand what the distinct types of users need. After that, together we will build solutions (according to the WCAG standard) for various cases that are often encountered in the accessibility landscape.
