What is Scrum Product Owner

Scrum is the most widely used framework for Agile software development. In contrast to the simplicity of the Scrum framework itself, applying it in reality is not simple. One of the success factors of Scrum is an effective Product Owner.
In this training, the focus will be on the roles and responsibilities of the Product Owner. We will therefore focus on the topics of product vision, product backlog, user stories and releases. In addition, we will provide you with practical tools and discuss common practice situations that will help you to become a successful Product Owner. Prior to the course you should follow our e-learning Scrum Basics, study the Scrum Guide and test your knowledge using the Scrum Quiz.
After completing the training you can take online, at a chosen time and place, the test for worldwide accredited Professional Scrum Product Owner Level I (PSPO I) from scrum.org. In preparation for this test you will receive a set of sample questions to practice for this assessment.
This is our own Scrum Product Owner training, which is especially useful if you already have some (theoretical) knowledge of Scrum. We also offer the more extensive two-day official Professional Scrum Product Owner training from Scrum.org.

Who should attend Scrum Product Owner

Scrum Product Owner training is intended for anyone who aspires to work in the role as Product Owner.
We assume that you have knowledge of the Scrum framework, for example, because you have followed basic Scrum training in the past, or because you've been working in a Scrum Development Team. Study the Scrum Guide carefully before attending the course! You can find out if you have sufficicient knowledge by testing yourself on the Open Assessment Scrum before you start the Scrum Product Owner training. The training material and the PSPO I assessment are in English.
The cost of the exam is included in the cost of training.
This training and the accompanying PSPO I assessment have a lot of overlap with the Scrum Master Training and the accompanying PSM I assessment.
