Projects often take place in the complex domain with many uncertainties. Therefore, an agile approach is often a good choice. When developing project products, Scrum is the most commonly used approach. But how do you combine Scrum with project management? What is the role of the steering committee and the project manager? How do you handle overall project planning in a project with multiple Scrum teams? What is the relationship between project manager and product owner? Who should attend Agile PM for Scrum
The Agile Project Management for Scrum course is designed for anyone who is involved in a project in an agile environment working with Scrum teams. The training is especially interesting for project managers, Scrum masters and product owners.
Prerequisites
To participate in this course it is necessary to have prior knowledge of the concept of agile (the four core values and the twelve principles) and the Scrum framework (at the level of PSM I or PSPO I). Although these topics are also covered in the book that accompanies the course and are also exam topics, we do not spend time on them during the course. If you lack this prior knowledge, take our Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master course first.
Objectives
In this course you will learn:
- The lifecycle of an agile project, including the use of alternative configurations
- Planning with agility to consistently deliver value as circumstances change
- The various roles and responsibilities that can improve connectivity between an agile team and the wider business
Exam information
The Agile Project Management for Scrum Handbook is included in this course, as well as a voucher for the official, internationally recognized APMG Agile Project Management for Scrum Foundation exam.
The cost of the exam voucher is included in the price of the course. Shortly after the start of the course you will receive a voucher by email that you can use to book your exam. Please note that you must schedule your exam at least 5 working days in advance.
