    What is BABOK® Practitioner

    The rapid development of the field of Business Analysis and the lack of a widely recognized structure and focused execution of BA activities, has led to confusion among many organizations and individuals. IIBA has grown to be the organization for the development of the 'Business Analysis Body of Knowledge' (BABOK®) standard for the profession of Business Analysis. BABOK® describes a generally accepted methodology. This course is based on the latest version, version 3.
    BABOK® helps organizations and individuals to conduct business analysis. In addition you can use the BABOK® to assess training needs and plan for career development. The CBAP & CCBA certifications have become the "de facto" international standards for the professionalism of Business Analysts. This training provides you the skills you need in the use of these internationally recognized Business Analysis standards.
    By the end of the course you will be able:

    • Perform Business Analysis according to the Knowledge Areas and Tasks and Techniques, as they are described in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge®
    • Adapt and use BABOK® in specific situations
    • Use various techniques described in the BABOK® Guide and combine them in a Business Analysis example
     
     

    Who should attend BABOK® Practitioner

    Medium Business Analists who want to to become competent in the use of BABOK®.
    We expect that you have already followed the BABOK® Foundation and that you have a number of years experience in the role of Business Analist.

    Prerequisites

    We assume that you have followed BABOK® Foundation, and that you have several years of experience as a Business Analyst.

    Objectives

    After completing this course you will be able to: Perform Business Analysis in accordance with the Knowledge Areas, Tasks and Techniques, as described in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge®. Apply BABOK® in specific situations. Various techniques as mentioned in the BABOK® Guide can be used in combination in a Business Analysis process.
