What is The People Side
The training The People Side looks at a number of competencies that are important in facilitating good teamwork. We look at ourselves (Lead Yourself) based on our personality and what motivates us. But we also look at how we interact with others. Subjects such as MBTI, Core Qualities, motivation, situational leadership, conflict management, feedback and team building are discussed. Always with a theoretical framework but with a focus on practical application through exercsises.
Who should attend The People Side
The training The People Side is aimed at everyone who is managing or supporting teams working in a project or agile environment. For instance project managers, scrum masters and team leads.
Prerequisites
Some practical experience in working with teams
Objectives
This course introduces the People Side, enabling participants to:
- place their projects within the broader organizational context,
- understand the behavioural and contextual competences necessary for the effective management of projects,
- develop their basic problem solving, motivation and conflict resolution skills, understand how to adapt their leadership style in order to be effective in the management of project teams.
