    What is Testing in Theory and Practice

    Are a starter in the world of software testing? But you don't have any experience and would like to be prepared as quick as possible and in the best possible way? Then this training is really the thing for you!
    In this training you will be taken into the world of the daily practice of the software tester. Together with an experienced coach you get acquainted with all activities, techniques, hard and soft skills that are important for a tester. This all is done on the basis of a case, based on this case you will learn:

    • What is testing really;
    • Where do you find testing in the Software Development Life Cycle;
    • What kind of documentation is there and why is this important for testing;
    • How to set up a test
    • What are test scripts and how do I make them;
    • How do I register findings;
    • What are test techniques and how do I use them;
    • How to make a test strategy (product risk analysis);
    • What kind of soft skills are important for a tester;

    And much more!
    After this training you are ready to start working as a tester in practice. Possibly you can also go for a certification like TMAP or ISTQB. However, this is not the goal of this training. This training is purely focused on Testing in practice.

     
     

    Who should attend Testing in Theory and Practice

    This training is designed for people who want to start in the world of structured software testing. These can be people starting in the field, (Functional) administrators, Business Analysts, developers, etc.

    Prerequisites

    No entry level applies to this training.

    Objectives

    You learn the basic principles of software testing. You also learn the basic principles of T-Map. You practice a lot with the basic techniques and you know how to apply them in practice. You will also learn how to set up and deploy your tests in a practical and structured way, taking into account quality attributes, coverage, basic techniques, etc. At the end of the training you will be well aware of all the basic principles of T-Map. This can serve as a first step in the direction of the T-Map certificate. However, this is not an exam training, but a purely practical training.
