    What is Designing security architectures

    What is security architecture?
    • An architecture that covers the security aspect. Just like a "normal" architecture, a security architecture consists of several layers.
    • The context and conceptual layer describe the environment in which the security architecture is developed, the compliance requirements from legislation and regulations, the cyber security risks and the business objectives.
    • In the business layer, the security governance, the security principles and the security organization are described.
    • In the information layer, the classification method of data is elaborated, the security functions are described and the security models for zoning and segmentation are described.
    • In the technical layer, the security services (Security building blocks) and the security standards are included.
    • The security processes are described for managing the security. Finally, a roadmap is drawn up that ensures the realization of the security architecture.

    • This training is specifically designed for anyone who wants to learn how to set up a security architecture.
    • You work in a role as an architect or cyber security specialist.
    • You have basic knowledge of architecture and advanced knowledge in cyber security.

    Prerequisites

    • Basic knowledge of architecture.
    • IAF or TOGAF and Archimate (basic).
    • Cyber security knowledge at an advanced level.
