  • What is ITIL® Intermediate: Service Strategy

    The training ITIL® Intermediate Service Strategy is a practical training for professionals who have a role as service manager, IT manager or service coordinator or aspire and/or are preparing for the ITIL® Expert certification.

     

    During the training you learn to define and manage the processes and activities within the Service Strategy phase of the ITIL® Lifecycle. The goal of Service Strategy is to think about and decide why something should be done with the benefits for the customer in mind. The relationship between the various ITIL® processes are extensively covered.

    The training consists of a combination of different forms of learning. The number of contact days is limited, without compromising on quality. To ensure optimal preparation you will receive access to an e-learning. This will be made available 2 weeks prior to the training. We expect you to complete this e-learning before the start of the training, on average this takes 24 hours of self-study. Take this into account in your planning.

    During this training you will learn how to define and manage the activities in the Service Strategy phase. The processes, principles, concepts and activities are extensively covered and you go deeper into the directing of strategy throughout the Service Lifecycle.

    The training focuses on the design and coherence of processes. Processes extensively dealt with in the Service Strategy phase are: Service Portfolio Management, Financial Management for IT Services, Business, Demand Management and Strategy Management for IT services. After attending the course you will be ready for the official ITIL® Service Strategy exam and if you succeed it will bring you one step closer to the ITIL® Expert certification.

    The exam is not included in the training. If you want to do the exam, book it via our website.

  • Who is ITIL® Intermediate: Service Strategy for

    This training is interesting for professionals who have a role as service manager, process manager, IT professional, IT manager or service coordinator or aspire to and/or are preparing for the ITIL® Expert certification.

     

    Participants in this course must hold the ITIL Foundation certificate or ITIL® Foundation Bridge certificate They must also have knowledge and management experience in the fields of IT, IT tools and management thereof, obtained by work experience (approximately two years) in a service management environment.
