  • What is ITIL® Intermediate: Service Transition

    The training ITIL® Intermediate Service Transition is a hands-on training for professionals who have a role as service manager, IT manager or service coordinator or aspire and/or are preparing for the ITIL® Expert certification.

    During the training you learn how to define and manage the processes and activities within the Service Transition phase of the ITIL Lifecycle. The purpose of Service Transition is developing and deploying IT services. The coordinated implementation of changes is an important part of  this stage. The relationship between the diverse ITIL® processes in the Transition phase are covered extensively.

    The training consists of a combination of different forms of learning. The number of contact days is limited, without compromising on quality. To ensure optimal preparation you will receive access to an e-learning. This will be made available 2 weeks prior to the training. We expect you to complete this e-learning before the start of the training, on average this takes 24 hours of self-study. Take this into account in your planning.

    During this training you learn how to define manage the activities of the Service Transition phase. The processes, principles, concepts and activities are extensively covered and you go deeper into the development and implementation of IT services and the associated processes and activities.

    The training focuses on the design and coherence of the processes. The processes that are discussed in detail in the Service Transition phase are: Change Management, Service Asset and Configuration Management, Release and Deployment Management, Knowledge Management, Change and Transition planning and evaluation support and service validation and testing. After completion of the training you are ready for the official ITIL® Service Transition exam and if you succeed it will bring you one step closer to the ITIL® Expert certification.

    The exam is not included in the training. If you want to do the exam, book it via our website.

  • Who is ITIL® Intermediate: Service Transition for

    The program is interesting for professionals who have a role as service manager, process manager, IT professional, IT manager or service coordinator or aspire to and/or are preparing for the ITIL Expert certification.

     

    Participants in this course must hold the ITIL® Foundation certificate or ITIL® Foundation Bridge certificate. They must also have knowledge and management experience in the fields of IT, IT tools and management thereof, obtained by work experience (approximately two years) in a service management environment.
