    For several years, the State of Agile Report has shown that SAFe is the leading framework for scaling up the agile way of working by organization level. In the same report, five important practical success factors are mentioned for successful transformations into that agile way of working:

    1. Agile coaching

    The agile way of working has become more and more common within IT, but not yet within other parts of the organization. Agile coaches play an important role in the sustainable adoption of the agile way of working. These agile coaches prefer to come from their own organization: they know the organization best and are more closely associated with it for a long time. Nevertheless, it can be wise, especially at the start of the transformation, but also gradually, to let experienced agile coaches from outside the organization come along. With their experience and ideas from other organizations, they can integrate and support the internal agile coaches. And of course we can also arrange experienced agile coaches to guide you in practice..

     

    2. Leadership support

    To be able to manage the (agile) transformation processes within organizations in a successful, efficient and effective way, higher demands are placed on managers. Whatever the method or methodology is used to work on, in all cases a heavy burden is placed on "the leadership" of departments, projects and programs.     3. Training

    We have known this for a long time and it is now also confirmed from practice: training programs play a crucial role in change processes. And Scaled Agile, the organization behind SAFe, is aware of this. The provision of training materials now forms the core of their strategy. We have seen in recent years that the focus in SAFe training is increasingly shifting to the craftsmanship of the roles involved.     These courses are the official SAFe courses and are provided by certified trainers. The related SAFe-certification exam is included in the course. The cost of the exam is included in the course price. You will take the online exam at a time and place of your own choice and within 30 days of the course. In the Scaled Agile online learning environment, you will have access to an e-learning prior to attending the course and to the digital workbook that accompanies the course. You can also use this environment to take a practice test (mock exam). A one-year membership of the SAFe Community Platform is included in this course. This platform provides you with access to videos, discussion forums, toolkits and templates. All courses are based on the most recent version of SAFe.

     

    4. Consistent processes, principles in best practices

    This is exactly what SAFe offers you. A common language, a set of 10 principles that gives everyone the right mindset and countless best practices, so that you can really get started. If you have little or no idea of what SAFe is, read the SAFe White Paper.

     

    5. Tooling

    Although the first core value of the Agile Manifesto says: Individuals and Interaction over Processes and Tools, of course you cannot do without tools. And using a common set of tools with all of them, according to the research, appears to be an important success factor. Scaled Agile and Capgemini do not provide any tools themselves, but we can of course support you with advice and coaching. The leading research and consultancy firm Gartner regularly conducts research into which tools support SAFe best/ This research is conducted under the Critical Capabilities for Enterprice Agile Planning Tools label.
